The Create New Pool feature enables users to establish liquidity pairs for tokens on the VeChainThor blockchain. This interface provides the tools necessary to initiate new trading pairs or join existing pools. When creating a pair that already exists in any token order, the system automatically directs users to join the existing pool rather than creating a duplicate.

How to Create a New Pool

Access the Create Pool Page

• Navigate to betterswap.io/pools

• Select the "+ Create" button

• Alternatively, access directly via https://www.betterswap.io/pools/create-new-pool

Select First Token (Token A)

• Locate the "Token A" section at the top of the form

• Click "Select token" to open the token selection interface

• Choose the first token for the pair from the available options

• The interface displays the selected token and allows for quantity input

Select Second Token (Token B)

• Navigate to the "Token B" section

• Click "Select token" to open the token selection interface

• Choose the second token to pair with Token A

• The system checks if this pair already exists in any order

Pool Existence Check

The system automatically verifies if the selected pair already exists

• If the pair exists (in either token order), users join the existing pool

• If the pair is new, a new liquidity pool is created

Finalize Pool Creation

• Review the selected token pair

• Click the "Create pair" button to establish the new pool

• Alternative option: "Add to cart" to bundle with other transactions

Initial Liquidity Addition

• After pair creation, the system prompts for initial liquidity

• Users provide balanced amounts of both tokens to establish the pool

  • The system automatically detects if a pool exists with the selected tokens

  • Token order doesn't matter – A/B is the same pool as B/A

  • When an existing pool is detected, the "Create pair" button is replaced with "Add Liquidity"
